New Website

Reckon this might be my last proper entry for this website.

All current happenings and photos now shifted to http://spaces.msn.com/members/vin03

Although I¡¦ll leave this page running, there won¡¦t be much going on here.

An Entry¡K

It¡¦s been a while I know; thought I¡¦d insert a little update. I¡¦m probably a bit of a prick for not emailing anyone for almost a year now, just have to blame it on the lifestyle.

Anyhow, got back from Romania on Saturday night ¡V smooth travel no glitches at all, which was good, especially in light of recent happenings in London etc.

Not much time at the moment for lengthy typing, but will continue this a little later once i've scanned in all my travel photos - yeah some of us are still using film! and damn proud of it!

STUDENT LIFE!

Yo folks! Hope everyone’s having as good a time as I am, being a student.

It’s been bloody ages since I last wrote something here. Adrian  - I promised you updates dude, so here goes….

I can’t really remember what I last told everyone, so I’ll start from January this year – university life has been f$%ing brilliant! (foul language needed to express immense satisfaction – it’s the 21st century after all)

I’m having a great time studying engineering, my lecturers are great – and I honestly can’t say I’ve had a truly boring lecture thus far.

I’m doing archery now, and I’m thinking of taking up snowboarding – will keep you updated.

And of course you’ll be wondering what the night life is like – all my mates know I can’t claim to be having a good time without partying being in the equation; in saying that Edinburgh’s nightlife is fantastic! And the girls here are no less…ahah

Sorry boys, can’t spread the love. Best I can offer is to take you guys around if you ever come to visit.

French is going well, am attending weekly lessons – my tutor conducts the lessons entirely in French which provides for excellent conversational practice.

I’ll be going to Romania this summer for a month on a “teaching English to kids” programme organised by the university – i’m the only guy in the group from my uni, the rest are all hot honeys.

Have discovered Edinburgh’s rock climbing gym – it’s by the shore and used to be a church (now entirely converted into an excellent rock climbing gym). Took part in a bouldering competition two weeks ago, completely knacked at the end, made some new friends though, so no complaints. Gonna train a little more and try to get into the top group for the next competition.

That’s it for now dudes – do tell me what’s going on in m’sia (type away on the chatterbox)

HAPPENINGS

I’m now in the computer lab at university. It’s a wet though relatively warm morning for this time of the year.

It seems we’re to be expecting the coldest Christmas for two centuries this year!! – now would that be a good thing or not?

Had my first proper archery competition last Saturday – fantastic! Had heaps of fun -

f*%ing great. I’ve really gotten into this sport – been playing squash regularly as well, tennis is a bit more difficult as the weather is a little unpredictable, not to mention it's getting colder now. Thinking about getting my own bow soon, though will have to save up for that first – a reasonable recurve bow would set me back around £600; they don’t come cheap!

Loads of things lined up for xmas – looking forward to the holidays. Exams are in just over two weeks time.

Thinking of going skiing in the Alps post Christmas/early New Year, though will have to see how that works out.

Happy birthday to all who are celebrating this month! And guys I’ll try and email this weekend – trust me time is just too precious at the moment…

Hey girls! (and guys!), hope everyone's doing well wherever you are in the world right now.

Time is just flying by over here! they are too many things going on! hallowe'en ball was yesterday night! fantastic! great costumes, my mate chris should have landed at London by now (think he got here on thursday), and the clocks have been wound back an hour - the long hours of sunlight are gone!

..more time for frolicking in the dark!

time is precious so i'm gonna keep this entry short.
